TomTom Installation Instructions

1. Download the Subaru Rally D’Italia Sardegna Points Of Interest file. You will be prompted to Open the file or Save the file (the exact wording will be dependent upon which browser you are using). Please choose 'save' and make a note of where you save the file

2. Locate the file you have just downloaded (Subaru_Rally_Sardinia.zip) e.g 'c:\temp\Subaru_Rally_Sardinia.zip' and right-click the file. Choose 'Extract files here...' from the menu that will pop up

3. Choose where you want to extract the files to by following the on-screen instructions

4. Connect your TomTom Go/Rider/One to your PC using the supplied USB cable

5. Open 'My Computer' by either double clicking the icon on your desktop or by selecting it from the Start Menu (dependent on what version of Windows you are using)

6. Your TomTom device should now be visible in 'My Computer' as a 'Removable Disk'

7. Open the TomTom drive, by double-clicking it, and then open your map folder. The name of the map folder will be dependent on which mapset you have installed but will be similar to 'Sardinia-Map' (if you have only Sardinian maps) or 'Western_Europe-Map' (if you have full European maps). You must have mapping of Sardinia to use this POI Set

8. Locate the folder where you extracted the files in Step 3 above. The 'Subaru_Rally_Sardinia.zip' download file contains three files, Licence.txt, Rally_Sweden.bmp and Rally_Sweden.ov2

9. Select the 'Rally_Sardinia.bmp' and 'Rally_Sweden.ov2' files. Copy them by holding 'CTRL' and pressing 'C'

10. Go back to your map folder and paste the files by holding 'CTRL' and pressing 'V'

11. You have now transferred the POI files to your TomTom

12. You can now access the POIs by selecting Navigate to | POI | Swedish Rally

Garmin POI Loader Instructions

To install POIs to a compatible Garmin device you will need Garmin's POI Loader Utility available by clicking this link: Download POI Loader

2. Locate the file you have just downloaded (Subaru_Rally_Sardinia.zip) e.g 'c:\temp\Subaru_Rally_Sardinia.zip' and right-click the file. Choose 'Extract files here...' from the menu that will pop up

3. Choose where you want to extract the files to by following the on-screen instructions

4. Connect your Garmin to the PC via the USB cable

5. If POI Loader does not automatically start, run it now

6. Browse for your POI folder and follow the on screen instructions

7. Use ' auto' mode to quickly transfer the database to your unit

Note that any other POIs you wish to load must be uploaded at the same time as this file.
